1. The new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to constructalong a route from the southbound carriageway of the new trunk road to anew highway to be constructed by him pursuant to theLondon-“Brighton Trunk Road (A23 Hickstead Side Roads) (No. 3)Order 1991 (linking with Jobs Lane, Hickstead), the slip road along thisroute being given the reference letter A on the deposited plan, shallbecome a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.
2. The centre line of the said slip road is indicated by a heavy blackline on the deposited plan.
3. In this Order-
(i)"the deposited plan"means the plan numbered PSE A23/2/65/2/5 marked"The London-“Brighton Trunk Road (A23 Hickstead Slip Roads) (No.3) Order 1991" signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at theDepartment of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P3PY; and
(ii)"the new trunk road"means the highway to be constructed by the Secretary of State inpursuance of the London-“Brighton Trunk Road (A23 Hickstead) Order1987(3) (as amended by the London-“Brighton Trunk Road (A23Hickstead) Order 1987, Amendment Order 1991)(4).
4. This Order shall come into force on 27th May 1991 and may be citedas the London-“Brighton Trunk Road (A23 Hickstead Slip Roads) (No.3) Order 1991.
