In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 27(3) of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988(1), I hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1990.
2. Section 20 of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (removal of arms and ammunition to Northern Ireland) shall, insofar as it is not already in force, come into force on 2nd April 1991.

This Order brings into force, on 2nd April 1991, section 20 of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988, insofar as it is not already in force. Section 20 was brought into force partially on 1st July 1989 by the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1989 (S.I. 1989/853), as amended by the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (Commencement No. 2) Order (Amendment) Order 1989 (S.I. 1989/1673). The other provisions of the 1988 Act are already in force.
