1. These Regulations may be cited as the Petroleum (Production) (Seaward Areas) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 1st August 1990.
2. The Petroleum (Production) (Seaward Areas) Regulations 1988(3) shall have effect subject to the substitution in paragraph (1) and (2) of regulation 9 (fees), of "£3,700" in place of "£3,100".

These Regulations amend the provisions of the Petroleum (Production) (Seaward Areas) Regulations 1988 relating to the fee payable by an applicant for a production licence under the Petroleum (Production) Act 1934 in respect of an area offshore. In the case both of an invited and a non-invited application, the fee is increased to £3,700.
