The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 4 to the Abolition of Domestic Rates Etc. (Scotland) Act 1987( (1)), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with such associations of local authorities as appear to him to be concerned and with the consent of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Revenue Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1988 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is approved by a resolution of the House of Commons.
2. The amount of revenue support grant payable to each local authority set out in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order in respect of the financial year 1989-90 shall be the amount determined in relation to that local authority set out in column 2 of that Schedule opposite to the name of that local authority.
