1. The Leeds City Council (Urban Motorway) Special Road Schemes (Revocation) Scheme 1988 is hereby confirmed with modification.
2. The said Scheme as confirmed (hereinafter referred to as "the Scheme") is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of the Scheme are deposited at the Department of Transport and at the offices of Leeds City Council, at the Information Centre, Ground Floor, Civic Hall, Leeds 1.
3. The Scheme will become operative on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.
4. This Instrument may be cited as the Leeds City Council (Urban Motorway) Special Road Schemes (Revocation) Scheme 1988 Confirmation Instrument 1989.

Leeds City Council in pursuance of their powers under sections 16 and 326 of the Highways Act 1980 and of all other enabling powers, and as highway authority for the Metropolitan District of Leeds and special road authority for the roads which (pursuant to the schemes specified in the Schedule hereto) are special roads, and which lie within their area, hereby make the following scheme:-
1. The Schemes specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.
2. This Scheme may be cited as "The Leeds City Council (Urban Motorway) Special Road Schemes (Revocation) Scheme 1988".
(i) The Leeds (South-East Urban Motorway) Special Roads Scheme 1966.
(ii) The Leeds (South-West Urban Motorway) Special Roads Scheme 1971.
(iii) The West Yorkshire Metropolitan County Council (Leeds South-West Urban Motorway) (Dewsbury Road Slip Road) Special Road Scheme 1976.
