The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 68(1) of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1980((1)) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1989 and shall come into force on 19th January 1990.
2. Schedule 1 to the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Order 1985((2)) is hereby amended as follows:-
For the word "Muirton" there shall be substituted the word "McDiarmid" .

This Order amends the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Order 1985 so as to substitute McDiarmid Park, Perth for Muirton Park, Perth as a sports ground designated for the purposes of Part V of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1980.
