1. The (A5) London-“Holyhead Trunk Road and Slip Roads and the (A49) Newport-“Shrewsbury-“Whitchurch Trunk Road (A5/A49 Shrewsbury By-Pass and Improvements) Order 1985(3) is hereby amended so as to substitute for the part of the route of the new main new trunk road described in paragraph (1) of Schedule 1 to that order and shown on site plan B of the deposited plan referred to in that order which lies between a point 340 metres east of its junction with the A49 trunk road and a point 740 metres west of its junction with the A458 principal road at Weeping Cross, the route shown by a heavy black line on the deposited plan referred to in article 2 below.
2. In this Order-“
(1) the measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;
(2) "the deposited plan" | means the plan numbered HA10/2WM122 marked "The (A5) London-“Holyhead Trunk Road and Slip Roads and the (A49) Newport-“Shrewsbury-“Whitchurch-“Warrington Trunk Road (A5/A49 Shrewsbury By-Pass and Improvements) Order 1985 (Sutton Hall Amendment) Order 1989" signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY. |
3. This Order shall come into force on 5th January 1990 and may be cited as the (A5) London-“Holyhead Trunk Road and Slip Roads and the (A49) Newport-“Shrewsbury-“Whitchurch-“Warrington Trunk Road (A5/A49 Shrewsbury By-Pass and Improvements) Order 1985 (Sutton Hall Amendment) Order 1989.
