1. The highways described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan shall cease to be trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.
2. In this Order the "deposited plan" means the plan numbered GLRT065/5012/34/TO1/5 marked "The A2 and the A205 Trunk Roads (Rochester Way and Westhorne Avenue Detrunking) Order 1989", signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY.
3. This Order shall come into force on 14th September 1989 and may be cited as the A2 and the A205 Trunk Roads (Rochester Way and Westhorne Avenue Detrunking) Order 1989.

1. That length of the A2 London-“Canterbury-“Dover Trunk Road known as Rochester Way at Kidbrooke and Falconwood in the London Borough of Greenwich starting immediately south of Annesley Road, and extending generally south-eastwards for approximately 4·8 kilometres and ending immediately north of its junction with Riefield Road and Lingfield Crescent. This route is given the reference number 1 on the deposited plan.
2. That length of the A205 London South Circular Trunk Road known as Westhorne Avenue at Kidbrooke in the said London Borough starting at its junction with the A2 at Well Hall Roundabout, and extending generally south-westwards for approximately 0·5 kilometres and ending immediately north of its junction with the Rochester Way Relief Road. This length of highway is given the reference number 2 on the deposited plan.
