The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2(3)(h) of the Courts of Law Fees (Scotland) Act 1895(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Scottish Land Court Order 1989, and shall come into force on 1st September 1989
2. The Scottish Land Court is hereby specified as a Scottish Court for the purposes of section 2 of the Courts of Law Fees (Scotland) Act 1895.

This Order specifies the Scottish Land Court as a Scottish Court for the purposes of section 2 of the Courts of Law Fees (Scotland) Act 1895. In effect this transfers the power to set fees in the Scottish Land Court from the Land Court members to the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Treasury.
