The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 107(1)(b) of the Water (Scotland) Act 1980(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, on the application of the Central Regional Council, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Central Regional Council (The Stirlingshire and Falkirk Water Order 1957 Amendment) Water Order 1989 and shall come into force on 8th August 1989.
2. In article 5(2) of the Stirlingshire and Falkirk Water Order 1957(2) for "737.92 ft. or more above ordnance datum" there shall be substituted "739.53 feet or more above Ordnance Datum Liverpool (225.613 metres or more above Ordnance Datum Newlyn)".
3. This Order and the Orders specified in the Schedule hereto may be cited together as the Stirlingshire and Falkirk Water Orders 1921 to 1989.
4. The Central Regional Council shall at all times after the expiration of six months from the date on which this Order comes into force keep a copy thereof at the office of the Chief Executive of the Council.
