This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of an omission in S.I. 1988/1800 and 1988/1801 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of those Statutory Instruments.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 122(1) and (3) of and paragraph 1(2) of Schedule 7 to the Education Reform Act 1988(1)the Secretary of State for Education and Science, having obtained the consent of the local education authority concerned with the institution known as the Winchester School of Art as required by section 122(5) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Higher Education Corporations) (Amendment) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 21st November 1988.
2. In article 2 of the Education (Higher Education Corporations) (No. 2) Order 1988(2) after the words "a body corporate" there shall be added the words "by the name of the Winchester School of Art" and for the words "as the Winchester School of Art" there shall be substituted the words "by that name".
3. In article 2 of the Education (Higher Education Corporations) (No. 3) Order 1988(3) after the words "a body corporate" there shall be added the words "by the name of the Falmouth School of Art and Design" and for the words "as the Falmouth School of Art and Design" there shall be substituted the words "by that name".

This Order amends the Education (Higher Education Corporations) (No. 2) Order 1988 and the Education (Higher Education Corporations) (No. 3) Order 1988 by giving the names under which the new corporations referred to in those Orders shall be established.
