1. The existing highways described in the Schedule to this Order and shown in heavy black type on the deposited plan shall become trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.
2. In this Order the deposited plan means the plan numbered GLRT3/17/04 marked "The A316 (County of Surrey Boundary to M3 Trunking) Order 1987", signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY.
3. This Order shall come into force on 30th April 1987 and may be cited as the A316 (County of Surrey Boundary to M3 Trunking) Order 1987.

The highways to become trunk roads are as follows:
Letter on plan
A.a length of the A316 about 590 metres in length, between the eastern termination of the M3 motorway, north-eastwards to the Surrey County Boundary;
B.the two slip roads which connect the A316 with other local roads at M3 Junction (Sunbury Cross); and
C.the slip road which connects the A316 with Hanworth Road and Park Road.
