1. The Norman Cross-Grimsby Trunk Road (Diversion between London Road, Boston and Algarkirk) Order 1976(3) (hereinafter referred to as the "Principal Order") is hereby varied as follows:-
(a)In article 5 of the Principal Order, in the definition of "the deposited plan", after the expression "HA7/2 EM58", there shall be inserted the words "(as varied)", and the words "(Variation) Order 1987" shall be substituted for the words "Order 1976"., and
(b)the following Schedule shall be substituted for Schedule 1 to the Principal Order:-
The route of the new trunk road is a route about 9.33 kilometres in length, starting at a new roundabout at the former London Road level crossing at Boston in the County of Lincolnshire then going in a generally south-westerly direction to form a new roundabout junction with Station Road. It then proceeds in a generally south-westerly direction to form a new roundabout junction with the A17 King's Lynn-Newark Trunk Road at a point just south-east of the former Algarkirk level crossing at Algarkirk in the County of Lincolnshire."
2. This Order shall come into force on 20th April 1987 and may be cited as the (A16) Norman Cross-Grimsby Trunk Road (Diversion between London Road, Boston and Algarkirk) (Variation) Order 1987.
