The Secretaries of State respectively concerned with health in England, in Wales and in Scotland, acting jointly, in exercise of their powers conferred by section 10(7) of the Weights and Measures Act 1963 as amended by article 2(2) of, and Schedule 1 to, the Transfer of Functions (Wales) Order 1969(1), and section 103 of the Medicines Act 1968 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations:-
1. These regulations, which may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Equivalents for dealings with drugs) Amendment Regulations 1976, shall be read as one with the Weights and Measures (Equivalents for dealings with drugs) Regulations 1970(2) and shall come into operation on 1st November 1976.
2. Regulation 3 of the Weights and Measures (Equivalents for dealings with drugs) Regulations 1970 is hereby revoked.

These Regulations revoke regulation 3 of the Weights and Measures (Equivalents for dealings with drugs) Regulations 1970. Regulation 3 excluded from the ambit of the 1970 regulations dealings in drugs which were medicated feed supplements or which were contained in animal feeding stuffs.
