The Secretary of State for Social Services, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 1 of the Polish Resettlement Act 1947, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following order:-

In Article 5 (entitlement) in paragraph (1) the words from "and provided further that" to the end of the paragraph shall be omitted, and paragraph (4) is hereby revoked.
This order amends the Pensions (Polish Forces) Scheme 1964 so as to remove a restriction under which no award could be made in respect of the death of a member of the Polish forces, occurring more than 7 years after the termination of his service, unless he had been in receipt of a pension in respect of disablement.
