The Minister of Transport in exercise of his powers under section 47 of the Transport (London) Act 1969 and of all other enabling powers hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Transport (London) Act 1969 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1969.

This Order brings into operation on either the 30th October 1969 or the 1st January 1970 all the provisions of the Transport (London) Act 1969 which were not brought into operation by the Transport (London) Act 1969 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1969, with the exception of section 19(1) to (7) (which relates to the transfer or extinguishment of the London Transport Board's debt to the Minister), sections 29 and 30 (which relate to metropolitan roads), section 32 (which relates to pedestrian crossings), and consequential repeals.
The Order specifies which provisions are to come into operation on the 30th October 1969 and which on the 1st January 1970, the latter date being the "vesting date" referred to in the Act.
