Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 15(1) of the Visiting Forces Act 1952, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:-
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) (Amendment) Order 1967 and shall be construed as one with the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1962 (1)
(2) The Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1962 and this Order may be cited together as the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1967
(3) This Order shall be published by the Administrator of the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Turks and Caicos Islands Gazette.
2. Schedule 1 to the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Order 1954 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Order") is amended by the insertion in the appropriate alphabetical order of the words "Turks and Caicos Islands".
3. The definition of "Governor" contained in paragraph 13(1) of Schedule 2 to the principal Order is amended by the insertion after the word "Territory" in that definition of the words "and, in relation to the Turks and Caicos Islands, includes the Administrator".

This Order extends to the Turks and Caicos Islands the provisions of the Visiting Forces Act 1952, subject to the adaptations, modifications and exceptions set out in Schedule 2 to the 1954 Order as modified by the present Order.
