Her Majesty, in pursuance of the power conferred upon Her by section 7(3) of the Oaths and Evidence (Overseas Authorities and Countries) Act 1963, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:-
1. Sections 1, 2, 4(1) and 6 of the Oaths and Evidence (Overseas Authorities and Countries) Act 1963 shall extend to the Bailiwick of Guernsey subject to the modification that in section 1 for the words "United Kingdom" there shall be substituted the words "Bailiwick of Guernsey".
2. This Order may be cited as the Oaths and Evidence (Guernsey) Order 1966 and shall come into operation on 1st September 1966.

This Order extends to the Bailiwick of Guernsey certain provisions of the Oaths and Evidence (Overseas Authorities and Countries) Act 1963 which provide for the taking of evidence for foreign civil proceedings or international courts and tribunals, and for the administration of oaths and the doing of notarial acts by representatives of a protecting power acting on behalf of the United Kingdom in foreign countries.
