The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 7(2) of the Superannuation (Amendment) Act 1965, hereby make the following Order:-
1. Employment which is remunerated out of the revenues of the Science Research Council or the Natural Environment Research Council shall be employment in a public office for the purposes of section 7 of the Superannuation (Amendment) Act 1965.
2. The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
3. This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Designation of Public Offices) Order 1965, and shall come into operation on 9th July 1965.
