Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by subsection (1) of section 15 of the Visiting Forces Act, 1952, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) (Amendment) Order, 1958, and shall be read and construed as one with the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) Order, 1954(1), hereinafter called "the Principal Order".
2. In the Principal Order, as amended by the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) (Amendment) Order, 1954(2), and the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) (Amendment) Order, 1956(3), the words "for the purposes of its extension to Cyprus" in section 1 are hereby replaced by the words "for the purposes of its extension to Cyprus, Gibraltar and Malta".

The purpose of this Order is to amend the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) Order, 1954, by extending to Gibraltar and Malta the provisions of the Visiting Forces (Designation) Order, 1954, in so far as these provisions relate to France.
