Whereas by
And Whereas such provision was made by the
And Whereas it is now deemed expedient to make certain amendments to the Order:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers in that behalf by the Act, or otherwise, in Her Majesty vested, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered as follows:-
1. There shall be added to Article 1 of the Order the following:-
"Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Commission shall not receive any claim which has not reached the Commission on or before the thirty-first day of December, 1954."
2.-(a) This Order may be cited as the Foreign Compensation (Hungary) (Registration) (Amendment) Order, 1954.
(b)This Order shall come into operation on the twenty-fourth day of October, 1954.
And the Right Honourable Anthony Eden, Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, is to give the necessary directions herein.

This Order amends the Foreign Compensation (Hungary) (Registration) Order, 1954, by providing that no claim shall be received by the Foreign Compensation commission under that Order unless it has reached the Commission on or before the 31st December, 1954.
