Air-Raid Precautions Act (Northern Ireland) 1938
An Act to secure that precautions shall be taken with a view to the protection of persons and property from injury or damage in the event of hostile attack from the air.

12. Penalty for damaging equipment, etc.
If any person wilfully damages or causes or permits to be damaged any premises, equipment, appliances or material used or intended to be used for the purposes of this Act, and being the property of the Crown or of any Government department or [
district council] or being in the possession or under the control of such person, such person shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding
[ level 3 on the standard scale ] , and, in addition to such fine, to pay such sum as the court by which he is tried thinks just for the purpose of making good any such damage.
