Summary
This was a reference under section 8 that was struck out for want of prosecution, as well as on the grounds that:
a) it was not clear what the dispute was about (not least because neither of the applications has been published) and
b) the patent applications mentioned in the reference are either terminated or abandoned, such that all rights have been lost. In other words, there was “no bone” to fight over.
