Summary
The invention relates to making an opening in a chimney flue and fitting over it a panel to radiate heat that would otherwise be wasted up the chimney. Despite four examination reports raising major objections, no amendment had been offered. It was held that claim 1 lacks novelty and clarity, and that on the face of it the remaining claims lack inventive step. The applicant was given two months to file amendments to meet these findings.
