Summary
The claimant requested that the comptroller decline to deal with a reference under section 12 on the grounds that there were similar issues before the High Court. The defendant consented to the request and it was duly allowed by the comptroller. The claimant asked for certain documents to be treated as confidential under rule 94(1) but did so after the required fourteen day period. The comptroller allowed a discretionary extension to this period and directed that the documents be treated as confidential until such time as the information contained in them entered the public domain.
