The complainant made a request which was then refined twice, for information relating to individuals with Indeterminate Sentences for Public Protection (IPP), the latest refined request is the subject of this decision notice. The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) refused the complainant-™s latest refined request under section 12(1) of FOIA (cost limit). The Commissioner-™s decision is that the MoJ was entitled to rely on section 12(1) of FOIA to refuse the latest request. The Commissioner also finds that the MoJ complied with its section 16 obligation to offer advice and assistance. The Commissioner does not require further steps.
