The complainant has requested information relating to the 2024 Summer Display. Alfreton Town Council (the Council) provided some information in scope of the request and advised further information was available on its website and Facebook account. The Council refused to disclose further information at internal review citing section 43(2) and section 3(2) of FOIA. The Commissioner's decision is that the Council was entitled to rely on section 43(2) and section 3(2), and the balance of the public interest lies in maintaining the exemption. No steps are required as a result of this decision.
