The complainant requested information about the Cabinet Office's guidance regarding the ICO's view on an aspect of the application of a certain exemption under FOIA. The Cabinet Office relied on section 14(1) of FOIA (vexatious) to refuse the request.The Commissioner's decision is that the request was vexatious and therefore the Cabinet Office was entitled to rely upon section 14(1) of FOIA to refuse it. The Commissioner does not require any steps.
