The complainant has requested information from the British Museum (Museum) regarding a contract and/or formal agreement with BP. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Museum was entitled to aggregate three requests under section 12(4) of FOIA and is entitled to rely on section 12(2) of FOIA to neither confirm or deny holding the requested information. The Commissioner is also satisfied that the Museum met its obligations under section 16 by offering advice and assistance.
