Ashley Down Schools Federation
The complainant has requested information relating to striking teachers. Ashley Down Schools Federation (“the School”) refused to provide the requested information because to do so would breach the data protection principles. The Commissioner’s decision is that the School was correct to rely upon section 40(2) as its basis for refusing to provide the requested information. However, the School breached section 17 (refusal of request) of FOIA. The Commissioner does not require further steps.
