Ministry of Justice
The complainant requested specified policy, procedural and complaints information relating to the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office (the ‘JCIO’), which falls under the remit of the Ministry of Justice (the ‘MOJ’). Ultimately, the MOJ said some of the information regarding FOIA procedures was held and had been provided to him in response to his previous request. As the complainant has not challenged or commented further on the disclosed information, the Commissioner has not considered this aspect any further. The MOJ also said that it did not hold any of the information requested by the complainant at part 1b) of his request. The Commissioner’s decision is that, on the balance of probabilities, the MOJ does not hold the requested information at part 1b) of the request. No steps are required as a result of this notice.
