Thurrock Council
The complainant requested information from Thurrock Council (the Council) regarding its investments in the renewable energy sector. The Council refused to provide the requested information, citing sections 43 (commercial interests) and 36 (prejudice to effective conduct of public affairs) of the FOIA.
