Bristol City Council
The complainant has requested information from Bristol City Council (“the Council”) regarding money spent resurfacing an area of road outside the Mayor’s home address. The Council refused the request as vexatious under section 14(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the request was vexatious and the Council was therefore entitled to rely on section 14(1) of the FOIA to refuse to comply with the request. The Commissioner does not require the Council to take any steps as a result of this decision.
