Hampshire Constabulary
The complainant requested CCTV footage relating to a murder investigation. Hampshire Constabulary refused the request on the grounds that section 30 (investigations and proceedings) and section 40 (personal information) of the FOIA applied. The Commissioner’s decision is that Hampshire Constabulary was entitled to rely on section 30(1)(a) of the FOIA to refuse the request. She requires no steps to be taken as a result of this decision.
