Slough Borough Council
The complainant has requested information contained in email correspondence to and from named councillors and officers of Slough Borough Council about two named council-owned properties. Slough Borough Council refused the request relying on the section 14(1) FOIA (vexatious or repeated requests) and section 12(1) (cost of compliance) FOIA exemptions. The Commissioner decided that the requests were a manifestly unjustified, inappropriate and improper use of a formal procedure and so were vexatious. The Commissioner does not require Slough Borough Council to take any steps to comply with the legislation.
FOI 14:
Complaint not upheld
