Bromley London Borough Council
The complainant requested an explanation of the decisions and actions taken by the public authority in relation to a complaint they submitted to the public authority. They also requested information relating to the training provided to specific members of staff involved in the handling of this complaint. The Commissioner’s decision is that London Borough of Bromley (“the London Borough”) failed to respond to the request within 20 working days and has therefore breached Section 10 of the FOIA. The Commissioner requires the The London Borough to take the following steps to ensure compliance with the legislation: Issue a substantive response, under the FOIA, to the request.
