Information Commissioner's Office
The complainant has requested the amount paid for work in an Appeal case to a named barrister by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). The ICO refused to provide this information on the basis of section 43(2) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the ICO has correctly engaged the section 43(2) exemption and the balance of the public interest favours maintaining the exemption. She requires no steps to be taken.
FOI 43:
Complaint not upheld
