24 June 2014, Local government (County council)
The complainant has requested information on the 5 June 2013 and the 19 June 2013 about a privately run care home. Staffordshire County Council (the council) provided some information to the complainant but advised that it did not hold other information. The council then applied section 14(1) at the internal review stage, but subsequently advised the Commissioner that it was not relying on section 14(1) of the FOIA to refuse those two requests, it maintains it has provided the information it holds. The complainant is not satisfied that he has received all the information requested. The Commissioner’s decision is that the council has provided all the information it holds. The Commissioner does not require the council to take any steps. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2014/0176 dismissed.
FOI 1: Not upheld
