Summary: The complainant has requested information relating to the Chancellor of the Exchequer-™s attendance at the Bilderberg Conference. He has also asked a number of questions about the -˜bedroom tax-™. The Information Commissioner-™s decision is that HM Treasury breached section 17(3) by failing to complete its consideration of the public interest within a reasonable time period. The Commissioner wrote to HM Treasury on 28 November 2013 stating that it should issue its response within 20 working days. HM Treasury has now provided its full response including the outcome of its consideration of the public interest test and therefore the Commissioner does not require any remedial steps to be taken in this case.
