Summary: The complainant requested from the Department for Work and Pensions (-DWP-) the names of the organisations that provided placements on the Day One Support for Young People Trailblazer (-DOSfYP-) scheme. The DWP withheld the information under 36(2)(c) (prejudice to the effect conduct of public affairs) and 43(2) (prejudice to commercial interests) of FOIA. It subsequently also applied section 29(1)(a) and (b) (prejudice to the economic and financial interests of the United Kingdom) to the withheld information. The Commissioner-s decision is that the DWP has incorrectly withheld the requested information under sections 29(1)(a) and (b), 36(2)(c) and 43(2). The Commissioner requires the public authority to take the following steps to ensure compliance with the legislation. To disclose to the complainant the information that it withheld under sections 29(1)(a) and (b), 36(2)(c) and 43(2).
