Decision notes | [2019] UKFTT 53 (PC). Applicants had executed a deed of trust declaring that they held the property on trust absolutely for the Respondent, and had subsequently transferred the legal title to him. They then registered restrictions, alleging that the only reason they had entered into the trust deed and transferred the property to the Respondent was because he had promised them that land owned or controlled by him in Pakistan would be transferred to them. HELD on the facts that there had been no misrepresentation and found for the Respondent. |
