This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 43A(1)(a) of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005( 1) and all other powers enabling Her Majesty to do so.
Accordingly, Her Majesty is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows.
1. This Order may be cited as the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (Appointment of Chief Inspector) Order 2021 and comes into force on 1st April 2021.
2. Robert Dickson Scott, QFSM is appointed as the Chief Inspector of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
3. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (Appointment of Chief Inspector) Order 2018( 2) is revoked.

This Order appoints Robert Dickson Scott, QFSM as the Chief Inspector of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
Article 3 revokes the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (Appointment of Chief Inspector) Order 2018.
