The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 78(3) of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 142(2) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
1. This Order may be cited as the Asset Transfer Request (Designation of Relevant Authority) (Scotland) Order 2019 and comes in to force on 1 April 2019.
2. VisitScotland(2) is designated as a relevant authority for the purposes of Part 5 (asset transfer requests) of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

This Order designates VisitScotland as a relevant authority for the purpose of Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.
VisitScotland is established under the Development of Tourism Act 1969 (c.51), as amended by the Tourist Boards (Scotland) Act 2006 (asp 15).
