This S.S.I. has been made in consequence of drafting errors in S.S.I. 2016/290 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that instrument.

The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 33(2)(a) and (3) of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Legal Aid (Scotland) (Fees) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2016 and come into force on 28th November 2016.
2.-(1) The Civil Legal Aid (Scotland) (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2016(2) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2(2)(c), in inserted sub-paragraph (ba), for "72(3)" substitute "72(9)".
(3) In the schedule, in the table of fees-
(a)in paragraph 2, in each of sub-paragraphs (a) and (b), for "6" substitute "7"; and
(b)in paragraph 5(b), after "sheets" insert "(or part thereof)".
