The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9(7)(a) of the Historic Environment Scotland Act 2014(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
1. This Order may be cited as the Historic Environment Scotland (First Planning Period) Order 2015 and comes into force on 1st October 2015.
2. The period beginning on 1st April 2016 and ending on 31st March 2019 is the first period specified for the purposes of section 9(7)(a) of the Historic Environment Scotland Act 2014 (specification of "planning period" for the purposes of Historic Environment Scotland's corporate plan).

The Historic Environment Scotland Act 2014 establishes Historic Environment Scotland (in Gaelic, Àrainneachd Eachdraidheil na h-Alba) and makes minor amendments to the law relating to the historic environment.
This Order specifies the period from 1st April 2016 to 31st March 2019 as the first planning period for Historic Environment Scotland's corporate plan.
