The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 40A(4)(c) of the Harbours Act 1964(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
1. This Order may be cited as the Harbour Authority Designation (Scotland) Order 2014 and comes into force on 16th June 2014.
2. (1) The Company, as harbour authority for the harbour area specified in section 14 of the Order set out in the Schedule to the Clyde Port Authority Confirmation Act 1965(2), is a designated harbour authority in terms of section 40A of the Harbours Act 1964.
(2) In paragraph (1), "the Company" means Clydeport Operations Limited (formerly Clydeport Limited) to which functions as harbour authority were transferred by the Clyde Port Authority Scheme 1991 Confirmation Order 1992(3).

This Order designates Clydeport Operations Limited as a harbour authority which can give harbour directions as provided for in sections 40A to 40D of the Harbours Act 1964.
1964 c.40; section 40A was inserted by the Marine Navigation Act 2013 (c.23), section 5(1).
1965 c.xlv; section 14 was substituted by section 4 of the Order in the Schedule to the Clyde Port Authority Order Confirmation Act 1969 (c.xxxi).
