The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 42(2)(d), 54(2)(b) and 56 of Schedule 11 to the Gambling Act 2005[
1] and all other powers enabling them to do so.
Citation and commencement
1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Gambling Act 2005 (Fees No. 3) (Scotland) Regulations 2007 and come into force on 24th September 2007.
Application fee
2.
An application to a licensing board under paragraph 42 of Schedule 11 to the Gambling Act 2005 must be accompanied by a fee of £40.
Annual fee
3.
The annual fee payable to the registering licensing board under paragraph 54(1) of Schedule 11 to the Gambling Act 2005 is £20.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations prescribe certain fees in relation to the registration of non-commercial societies for the promotion of small society lotteries under the Gambling Act 2005. Regulation 2 sets an application fee of £40. Regulation 3 provides for an annual fee of £20 to be payable by a registered society to the registering licensing board.
