The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 134 of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991[
1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
Citation, commencement and extent
1.
—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Works (Inspection Fees) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 1st April 2007.
(2) These Regulations extend to Scotland only.
Amendment of the Road Works (Inspection Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 2003
2.
In regulation 3(1) of the Road Works (Inspection Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 2003[
2] for "£21.00" substitute "£24.00".
Revocation
3.
The Road Works (Inspection Fees) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2004[
3] are revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations provide for an increase to £24.00 (previously £21.00) in the fee payable by undertakers for inspections of their work by road works authorities in Scotland under regulation 3(1) of the Road Works (Inspection Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 2003 and revokes a previous instrument which increased the fees in 2004.
