The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(1)(f) of the Joint Inspection of Children's Services and Inspection of Social Work Services (Scotland) Act 2006[
1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations, a draft of which has, in accordance with section 6(4) of that Act, been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament:
Citation and commencement
1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Joint Inspections (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.
Amendment of the Joint Inspections (Scotland) Regulations 2006
1.
In the Joint Inspections (Scotland) Regulations 2006[
2] insert "(1)" after "5" in regulation 11(a) and (b).

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend regulation 11 of the Joint Inspections (Scotland) Regulations 2006 to clarify that an offence is not committed by an authorised person failing to comply with a request in terms of regulation 5(2).
A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument, as it has no impact on the costs of business, charities or voluntary bodies.
