EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
These regulations which are made under the Building(Scotland) Act 2003 ("the Act") amend the Building (Forms) (Scotland) Regulations 2005 and set out the amended forms prescribed for the purposes of section 36 of the Act.
Regulation 2 is the general regulation which substitutes the Schedule in these Regulations for that in the 2005 Regulations. This takes account of changes to the forms which have been identified as necessary as a result of the practical application of the new system applicable since 1st May 2005 to building standards. As before, there is an index at the beginning of the Schedule which lists the 16 forms and their titles. The prescribed forms include those for building warrants and completion certificates as well as for various enforcement notices.
